Airport and Hotel Arrival Information

Shuttle Transfer Information: Airport >>> Hotel:

There is free Wi-Fi in the airport so when you are waiting for your luggage, please send me a message through WhatsApp so I know you have arrived. After you have retrieved your checked luggage, turn left after leaving the restricted baggage area and make your way towards Exit 7. Exit numbers are indicated on the pillars next to each of the doors leading out.

Once you reach Exit 7 you will find a Pons Delgado office (Shuttle Company) and you will also see the Rompelberg logo where you can check in and will be directed to the shuttle bus. Be prepared to show them your Shuttle Voucher. (Which will be sent out the week before you leave.)

The driver will wait a maximum of 1 hour from the posted Pick-up time). If there is an issue with your luggage, for example, that causes a delay, please let me know so I can advise the shuttle company that you have arrived. Do not leave without getting all of your luggage as they will not let you back in.

Your scheduled shuttle will be arriving at the airport approximately 30 minutes after your flight lands. It should not take more than 30-45 minutes to reach Exit 7. The driver will wait for one hour from his arrival time. Once everyone in your group has arrived, the driver will bring you and the others to the hotel which is an approx. 45-60-minute drive. Tip the driver 1 Euro per bag he unloads upon arrival at the hotel.

Delays Enroute to Palma

In the event that you are delayed along the way. Please let me know via WhatsApp when you think you will arrive, and I will add you to the next appropriate group. This helps the shuttle driver stay on schedule and not keep the group waiting. If you are super delayed and are going to arrive long after the last scheduled shuttle, plan on getting a taxi. Ask for a receipt and you will be reimbursed. Make sure you have the hotel name and address with you.

Arrival at the Rei del Mediterrani Palace:

I will meet you at the reception desk when you arrive. Have your credit card and your passport available.

  • The Hotel Rei does not take cash. If you want to purchase anything in the hotel or at the hotel bars, it is billed to your room using your room key card. You will be required to provide a credit card when you check in. If you are sharing a room with a friend, you need to figure out the bill as it will be combined when you check out.

  • For those that are going to need an ATM to get Euro, there is a bank machine in front of the hotel to the right as you exit.

  • The Dining Room is open 8am-1030am for breakfast and 7pm-930pm for dinner.

Collecting your bike:

If you arrive before mid-afternoon on Saturday, you will be able to collect your bike. If not, you will collect your bike after breakfast on Sunday.

Bring your saddle, pedals, computer mount and any other accessories you want on the bike. Also bring your shoes if you want to test ride when you collect your bike.

It can be busy so please be patient and courteous. The staff will do everything they can to get you set up. We are not in a hurry on Sunday morning. The plan is to get the bikes set up so we can ride shortly before lunch.
