9 Day Cycling Holiday
Alcudia, Mallorca, Spain
TRIP 1 - April 9-17, 2027
“One of the best cycling weeks you can imagine. Great courses, guides, terrain, views, elevation, food, accommodations, and most importantly people. Parvilla Travel have done it again.”
North or South?
If you want a more tranquil environment with pristine beaches and a smaller, more intimate hotel, the north is the place to stay, it also gives quicker access to the mountains and their breath-taking views, ideal for all level of cyclists. The south, by contrast, boasts a very large, impressive hotel with a magnificent spa and extensive facilities; its beaches are beautiful but often busy and even loud at times, and Palma’s ample shopping and dining options are just a 20-minute taxi ride away. Mountain roads from the south lie a little farther afield but reward cyclists with dramatic panoramas and perspectives you won’t find from the north.
Updated June 28, 2026: Maximum 30 Guests
Our Mallorca Cycling Holiday captures the essence of a true cyclist's paradise. You will begin your holiday near the northern city of Alcudia in the Play de Muro region of Mallorca. All of your riding will be based out of a 4.0-star resort located about 400m away from one of the most beautiful beaches of Mallorca, the Playa de Muro and directly accessible to explore the north and east of Mallorca by bike. The Lluc monastery, Pollenca, Sinue, Petra and Cape Formentor are all within reach. The hotel offers American styled double occupancy rooms with a balcony and views of the Mediterranean. Facilities include indoor and outdoor pools, sauna with relaxation room, an attractive lobby and several cozy bars.
Oh, and the weather is almost sure to be better than home with 300 sun-drenched Mediterranean days per year and typical temperatures above 60 degrees. Here, you'll get a rider’s-eye view of the incredible mountains, fertile valleys, and tranquil turquoise waters as you ride picturesque training roads such as Sa Calobra, Puig Major and the coastal road to Andratx. We’ve kept the classic rides, and added a few gems to explore, so there’s no excuse not to come.Cycling on the island is nothing of a Mediterranean dream come true. You will have the choice of daily guided rides of 30, 60 and 85 miles with incredible views in every direction including flat riding, rolling hills to great climbs and descents… it is like riding a Gran Fondo every day! Stunning, beautiful, and amazing … the trip of a lifetime! Ride, shop, walk, it is all right at your doorstep.

DAILY ITINERARIES
The focus of our trips is to build your base miles for the coming cycling season or utilize all of the training you have done at the end of the season. As a result, our rides are focused on the physical dimension and not sightseeing, so we anticipate that all guests will have a good level of physical ability and be sufficiently prepared to comfortably ride a variety of challenging terrain. Each morning you'll begin your ride around 9:30 AM and return sometime between 2-4 PM depending on the length of the ride and your ability level. Once you return to the hotel, the afternoon is yours to enjoy as you wish.
-
This Cycling Camp is suitable for all levels of riders.
Level E I Tourist: NON-GUIDED - I want to leave when I feel like it, I want to stop and take as many pictures as I want. I want to go wherever I choose either on my own or with a small group and without a guide.
Level D | Easy Riders: GUIDED - I’m relatively fit and am comfortable with hills that are less than half a mile in length. I want to ride on my vacation, but not necessarily every day. I can maintain an average speed of 10-14 mph.
Level C | Grupetto: GUIDED - I ride my bike on a regular basis either for fitness, to commute to work, or just for fun. I enjoy an active lifestyle with an occasional physical challenge. I can maintain an average speed of 14-16 mph.
Level B | Peleton B: GUIDED - I ride my bike an average of 150 miles per week and enjoy a moderate pace and use rest stops. I can maintain an average speed of 16-18mph.
Level A | Peleton A: GUIDE LED - I ride my bike an average of 200+ miles per week/ 5-6 days/week and enjoy a fast pace for an extended period of time. I love to train, improve, and am considered a strong rider. I can maintain an average speed of 20+mph.
-
If you chose to ride in one of the provided guided groups, there is an 8 Euro daily guide fee. There is vehicle support in the event of an emergency at the discretion of the guide. There is no follow car so you carry what you need. But with the support of the guide and the others in your group, you are never far from a flat assist or a boost up that final climb.
-
The terrain is consistently rolling, with quiet, narrow, and winding roads, very little of it is flat. Although the ascents are not exceptionally steep, they are often upwards of three miles long and there are multiple climbs each day. See the itinerary for specific daily ride distances and elevation options. On all of our cycling holidays, Parvilla Travel seeks to find quiet, paved secondary roads to experience a region; busy roads are avoided as much as possible. The itineraries are an approximation of our trips and routes listed may change at the discretion of the guides to improve the trip experience.
